PRIX EUROPA 1994 - AT A GLANCE

Berlin, 10 October 1994

225 progammes from 28 countries are entered to compete. The British filmmakers are plastered with awards. But the actual hero comes from Sarajevo: “Suzana from the Cellar“ is the title of the awarded tv documentary about a young girl that had survived the war – with wisdom and humour. For the first time programmes in competition are shown to the general public at the Berlin Academy of Arts – and here again „Suzana“ is the favourite!
