LANGUAGES THROUGH LENSES
Multilingual Europe in Focus!
Multilingualism and travelling – two of the defining elements of the young Euro-generation – are the main themes of this student video competition supported by the European Commission. The competition invites students to share their experiences of learning and speaking foreign languages in Europe.
The jury selected 15 proposals and to realize their ideas each production was granted € 5,000. Two persons from each project were invited to a workshop in Amsterdam and will be invited to PRIX EUROPA where the best film will receive a prize for Best Video on Multilingualism of the Year 2012.
Production has already begun and all the films will be presented during PRIX EUROPA as well as on the ELIA website from the end of October 2012.
