Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Raina Konstantinova of the European Broadcasting Union.
For the first time the PRIX EUROPA awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding achievements in service of the radio medium in Europe.
It honoured Raina Konstantinova for her work as Director of the Radio Department of the European Broadcasting Union - EBU since 2001.
In this role she has left a strong mark on the development of Public Service Broadcasting not only in Bulgarian National Radio but in the whole of Europe.
The prize was handed over to her by Arne Wessberg during the PRIX EUROPA 2011 Awards Ceremony in Berlin on 29 October 2011.
