Media sightseeing for PRIX EUROPA Participants
BERLIN PARTNER is offering a tour for PRIX EUROPA participants around the new "Media Spree" - Area in Berlin's pulsating creative centre.
In Kreuzberg/Friedrichshain, in Berlin's pulsating centre, several big media companies have settled themselves into a new creative industries hub.
Along the Spree, at the Oberbaum bridge - Universal Music and MTV built their headquarters into old warehouses - revitalising the old East Berlin harbour.
The two hour tour will take the PRIX EUROPA participants along this (and other) parts of Berlin. As elsewhere in Europe, the "Media Spree" as this area is called, is part of the re-development of an old industrial part of town - which is not completely without criticism.
