On the future of Public Service Media in Europe.
On 27 October the central event of the PRIX EUROPA will be the EUROPEAN LEADERSHIP PANEL which will be held at the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin.
The consequences of media convergence and the role of public service media in a continuously changing market are some of the great challenges that face public broadcasters today.
Information is distributed on more and more channels and media platforms and the competition with commercial media and newspapers is forcing a marginalization of the market. How can PSBs face these challenges? How can PSBs fulfill their remit order and still provide the strengths and the quality of public service broadcasting? Where are the chances and where are the risks for public service media in this changing landscape?
