Synopsis
This is a film about life, death and people who came very close to the edge between the two. It is also a film about love, the brightest manifestation of life. It took almost ten years to make this film. Its characters lived in the Russian city of Kaliningrad, formerly a German Konigsberg.

Citation by the Jury
"This film was for our judges a privileged insight into the workings of an artist. A man who was caring and compassionate, a man who won trust and access to those, who struggle to survive in difficult times.

His dedication to recording on the very edge of being, the margins of life, is something  from which we, as a documentary community should take strength and resolve to  continue each in our own way. It is not often that one finds the quality of philosophical commentary that connects the films characters with the wider world of the viewer. Oleg Morozov we miss you but proudly we hold on to your work."
