Some say love is the universal language. While this may well be true, speaking the same language will definitely speed up the process.
The story is set in a not-so-unusual and not-so-hard-to-find ERASMUS party. Young people from different countries, with different backgrounds, having fun, dancing and meeting new people. As our two main characters arrive at the party they stumble upon a crowd of stunning people dancing and they are astonished.
Pedro sees Irina dancing and decides to join in and try his luck. But the task proves not to be easy as Irina finds Pedro’s interruption a bit rude and he did not even apologize for it. But even in the face of a bad start Pedro does not give up. He tries to make small talk and get to know her a bit better. But there is another obstacle: Irina does not speak Portuguese or English.
They struggle to understand each other when all of a sudden Nuno, Pedro’s friend, sneaks in and whispers something in Irina’s ear. She smiles and leaves with him while Pedro is left confused with what just happened.
On his way out Nuno tosses a multi-language dictionary to Pedro.
