PRIX EUROPA 1988 – AUF EINEN BLICK
Berlin, 25. September
Der nächste Schritt ging nach Berlin, der Kulturhauptstadt Europas 1988, und zu seinem öffentlich-rechtlichen Sender - Sender Freies Berlin, Ausrichter des internationalen Fernseh- und Hörfunkwettbewerbs Prix Futura Berlin.
Bereits bei seiner 2. Austragung öffnete sich der PRIX EUROPA für den ganzen Kontinent, für nationale und regionale Fernsehstationen und für Fiktion- und Dokumentarprogramme
„Made in Europe“.
Einer der 4 vergebenen Preise ging an einen Dokumentarfilm aus Dänemark zu einem Thema, das in den Folgejahren zur Kernfrage Europas werden sollte: Wie gestalten wir das Zusammenleben in unseren multi-ethnischen Gesellschaften?
Das Europäische Parlament, die Europäische Kommission, das Land Berlin und der Sender Freies Berlin traten der PRIX EUROPA Allianz bei und 52 Fernsehstationen Europas schickten ihre Progamme in den Wettbewerb.
